Position Overview A Cove Guardian is a trusted caregiver and guide who ensures children feel safe, supported, and inspired while in our care. This role is responsible for active supervision, facilitating play-based experiences, maintaining a clean and secure environment, and building strong relationships with families. Key Responsibilities Provide active supervision and engage children in age-appropriate play and learning experiences Maintain compliance with Texas Minimum Standards for Child-Care Centers at all times Ensure classroom ratios and safety procedures are consistently upheld Maintain a safe, clean, and organized childcare environment Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and emergency protocols Communicate clearly and professionally with parents regarding their child’s day Support the Cove Director in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and enrichment activities Adapt to varying age groups, schedules, and daily operational needs Maintain required documentation, incident reports, and state-mandated training Model professionalism, kindness, patience, and positive guidance strategies Demonstrate a team-first mindset with flexibility to support broader operations when needed (including but not limited to café support, inventory assistance, event coordination etc.) Required Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or GED Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting requirements Meet all Texas Child Care Licensing requirements for employment Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and actively engage with children throughout the day Strong communication and interpersonal skills Genuine passion for supporting children and families Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of experience in licensed childcare, early childhood education, camp, tutoring, or similar setting CDA credential or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Experience working with multiple age groups (infants through school-age) Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Compensation & Growth CoPlay Cove offers competitive compensation aligned with experience and credentials within the San Antonio market. Position Overview The Cove Community Manager is responsible for the day-to-day experience of CoPlay Cove. You are the person ensuring the space runs smoothly, feels welcoming, and consistently reflects the level of quality we promise our members. This role blends community building, operations, events, and light team leadership. It is hands-on and fast-moving, and it requires someone who is organized, proactive, and naturally takes ownership. When something needs attention, you notice it and handle it. Responsibilities Member Experience & Community Welcome members, families, and guests with warmth and professionalism Serve as the primary point of contact for questions, support, and day-to-day needs Lead tours, onboarding, and help members feel oriented and at home in the space Build relationships with members and contribute to a strong, connected community Operations & Daily Flow Oversee the opening and closing of the space and ensure everything runs smoothly throughout the day Manage coworking schedules, room bookings, and membership logistics Maintain a clean, organized, and well-prepared environment at all times Monitor inventory and supplies across the front desk and café Events & Programming Plan and execute events, workshops, and community gatherings Coordinate logistics from start to finish, ensuring a seamless experience Support the growth of a thoughtful and engaging event calendar Team Support Oversee and support café staff (2–3 team members) Help with scheduling, day-to-day direction, and maintaining a positive team environment Step in where needed to keep operations running smoothly Light Technical & Space Support Assist members with basic tech needs including Wi-Fi, printers, and workstation setup Help troubleshoot equipment such as monitors, keyboards, and docking stations Coordinate with leadership or vendors for larger technical or facility issues Qualifications 2–4+ years of experience in coworking, hospitality, community management, or a similar environment Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple moving pieces Clear, professional communication and a naturally welcoming presence A high level of ownership and reliability. You follow through and take initiative Comfort in a hands-on role where no two days look exactly the same Preferred Qualifications Experience in coworking, childcare environments, or membership-based businesses. Previous leadership or team oversight experience Event coordination or community management experience. IT experience to assist in setup and troubleshooting Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Position Overview The Cove Barista is more than a coffee maker; they are a hospitality ambassador and experience curator. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining café standards, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for members and families. We use professional-grade espresso equipment and seek individuals who take pride in craftsmanship, cleanliness, and customer interaction. Responsibilities Prepare and serve espresso beverages, teas, and light café items with consistency and care. Operate and maintain high-end espresso equipment and grinders responsibly. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked café environment. Provide friendly, attentive, and professional customer service. Manage basic inventory and restocking of café supplies. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines. Handle transactions and point-of-sale systems accurately. Support light hospitality tasks for events or peak hours.
