Ready Set Grow!

A 6-Week Language & Literacy Boot Camp

At CoPlay Cove, we believe San Antonio families deserve access to the very best. That’s why we’re proud to partner with Cassie Golasinski, a highly respected licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, to bring her exceptional expertise and innovative programming to our community. Through Ready, Set, Grow, we’re offering a one-of-a-kind 6-week language and literacy boot camp designed to give preschoolers and early elementary students (K-1st grade) the skills and confidence they need to thrive in school.

This enriching program offers more than just support for children with speech or language needs—it’s a dynamic, fun-filled learning experience for all. Using engaging activities like games, crafts, music, and movement: Ready, Set, Grow helps children strengthen vital skills such as phonemic and phonological awareness, story grammar, decoding, and even early writing and spelling. Every element of the program aligns with Texas Kindergarten TEKS, ensuring your child is set up for success in the classroom and beyond.

Meet Your SLP: Cassie Golasinski

Cassie Golasinski, owner and founder of Goal Getters Pediatric Therapy, brings a wealth of expertise and passion to the Ready, Set, Grow program. As a wife and mother, Cassie understands the unique challenges parents face and is dedicated to empowering families to foster strong communication skills in their little ones.​ 

 

Cassie holds a bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology and a master’s in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD). Certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed in Texas, Cassie’s career has been shaped by her lifelong dream of supporting children, inspired by witnessing speech therapy’s transformative impact on her own family.

With special interests in early literacy, phonology, and bilingualism, Cassie brings years of experience working with young learners and recently served as a clinical supervisor for graduate students at UTD. Program Details

We’re thrilled to host Ready, Set, Grow in a professional and welcoming space while our permanent location is under construction—because we can't wait to bring valuable services to children of San Antonio, why should big cities have all the fun?

 

Our sessions will take place in Hill Country Ballroom C at the Holiday Inn in North Stone Oak.

​

Here’s everything you need to know:

  • Dates: Every Monday and Wednesday, starting June 9th, for six weeks.

  • Times:

    • Pre-Readers: 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM

    • Early Readers: 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM

  • Cost: $360 for the full six-week program.

    • Early Bird Discount: Save $30 when you register by May 30th!

  • Class Size: Limited to a maximum of 7 children per group to ensure individualized attention.

  • Materials Provided: No need to bring anything—everything your child needs will be supplied!

  • Parent Amenities:

    • Complimentary light refreshments for you and your child.

    • Free Wi-Fi in the meeting space—perfect for working, reading, relaxing, or socializing while your child is engaged.

    • Feel free to bring additional snacks or drinks for your child if preferred.

How to Sign Up

Scroll down to reserve your spot and purchase a ticket for your child in the appropriate group (Pre-Reader or Early Reader). Spaces are filling quickly, so don’t wait!

  • Pre-Reader Group (9:00 AM - 10:00 AM):

    • Your child is just starting to recognize letters and sounds.

    • They are building skills like identifying rhymes and syllables.

    • They enjoy listening to stories but may need support with retelling or understanding story elements.

    • They are in the early stages of learning to decode simple words or are not yet reading independently.

  • Early Reader Group (10:30 AM - 11:30 AM):

    • Your child can already recognize most letters and sounds.

    • They are beginning to read simple words or sentences on their own.

    • They are ready to expand their decoding, spelling, and writing skills.

    • They are working on building fluency and understanding more complex story structures.
